How li_adsid is used
When you arrive from a LinkedIn ad, the link carries an identifier called li_adsid (sometimes li_fat_id). With marketing consent we store that value in your browser's local storage as wws-li-adsid-v1 and attach it to the analytics events you trigger, so we can tell which campaign led to an enquiry. It is not a name, an email address, or a cross-site tracking cookie, and we do not sell or share it.
- Purpose: measuring LinkedIn campaign effectiveness.
- Legal basis: your consent, Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR.
- Retention: 90 days in your browser; 12 months in our EU-hosted database.
- Withdrawal: turning marketing off here deletes the stored value immediately.
